I had been going to the gym for quite a while but really felt that I had reached a point of not progressing further. I booked 10 sessions with Nathan to focus on strength (I have recently taken up rock climbing) and improving my nutrition. In only 7 weeks I lost 3Kg of fat and gained 3Kg of muscle. This was a real result; my climbing improved – and I really felt that I had made a leap forward in the gym. Nathan’s combined focus on exercise technique and quality nutrition really worked for me.

Nathan’s positive approach to fat loss and training has given me strength and encouragement to take control of both my eating and exercise habits. Nathan’s personal attention and constant support has enabled me to lose 12 pounds in just 7 weeks. I have a mountain to climb … needing to lose at least 2.5 stone. At my first weigh in and body stats assessment, when I felt at my lowest, he talked positively about how this was the beginning of a new journey, how great I’d look when we’d finished and how to start making small changes and build up steadily. So I have gradually developed habits which I can use for the rest of my life, rather than rushing into an intensive training programme/healthy eating plan which I would soon tire of!
Now I walk everyday in the morning before breakfast for at least half an hour, I train with Nathan twice a week doing an all over workout and then at least 20mins low intensity cardio of my own. I never thought I’d be here now and have kept the weight off! My stress levels have reduced, my positive self image is so much greater and my sex drive is through the roof!
Every week I tell Nathan my weight and he always gives me confidence in what I’m doing and a positive self image, no matter what the result! He focuses on the ‘here and now’ and does not let me become overwhelmed by how much I have to lose. His laid back and joke-filled attitude hides a layer of determination and seriousness which gives me the best of both worlds, he’s supportive and encouraging, but no push over and makes sure I don’t get complacent!
Previously with other trainers I found that I would lose no weight. I’d do two high intensity training sessions a week, which left me exhausted and unable and unwilling to do further exercise. As I was so tired, I’d keep my energy levels up by eating more! The result was frustration. I had actually started to hate the training sessions I was paying for!
Life with Nathan is so much better! My goals are his goals and his knowledge and skills have got me this far, I couldn’t have done it without you Nathan! Long may our journey continue!

Starting your 12 week GB Fitness Life/Body Transformation Course at 22st 10lbs, I was sceptical about your comments on fat loss and body conditioning. With your support after 3 weeks I was able to weigh myself at home as the scales that had a 22st limit! The body stats you carried out showed that my fat content and water were moving in the right direction. The training was enjoyable and the education on what foods to eat were responsible for losing 13 lbs in just over a month. I did struggle with the amount of food that I had to consume, by Nathan adjusted this to make easy for me.
At the end of the 12 week course my best weight was 21st 4lbs with a further improvement in my body stats (I had also gained muscle). I have managed to keep a whole 20lbs off after the course ended with minimal training. I would recommend this to anyone. And I am going to lose another stone with Nathan and I will keep on going...

Since working with him I have noticed an inprovment in the ring and in training, I feel fitter and stronger under Nathans programme. This is due to his ability to understand what I wanted to achieve, he therefore developed a nutrition and fitness programme specifically for my needs.
